There is a group of excellent professionals and cutting-edge instruments for diagnosis, rehabilitation and assessment, soundproof rooms, hearing aids fitting rooms, a computerized tomography scanning room, a gene study laboratory, an earmold laboratory and so on in the Audiology Clinic. Professionals can supply a wide population of people with a basket of services, including audiologic diagnosis, hearing aids fitting, hearing and speech assessment and implanted cochlear programming.

The Speech Training and Education Department boasts a team of talented faculty combining theory and practice and first-class teaching facilities. It consists of a group teaching department, an individualized tutoring department and a parents’school. The Department undertakes the individualized assessment of hearing, speech and learning ability for pre-school hearing-impaired children, based on which, auditory training, speech therapies and speech training are carried out with the combination of group teaching and individualized tutoring. In addition, parents-children classes are set up for children younger than 3 years old. The service model has set a good example for all rehabilitation institutions for hearing-impaired children in China.
By the end of 2007, over 60,000 people with hearing impairment have received audiological service and education here.
